5GTR-FM 1001.1FM is a Community Radio Station broadcasting to Mount Gambier and surrounding district since 1983.

Our History

We began broadcasting from the Odeon Plaza then in the late 80's had to relocate and found a new home at the Caledonian Building on Penola Rd.

Then in the mid 90's due to the sale of the building the Board of Management was able with the help of City Council purchase the property that is now 5GTR-FM's permanent home 25 Alexander Street.
